Priview of Limerick game!

On Friday night, Cork City make the fairly short trip up the road to face Limerick in what is a promotion chasing munster derby .  A win for City here would put us just a point behind Limerick in the league table and should the likes of Shels and Waterford slip up over the coming weeks, then a win in Jackman Park would be a massive 3pts for Tommy Dunne's men .
City can go into this one with a sense of optimisim given that they won in Limerick earlier in the season  with  3-1  being the final score. A brace from Graham Cummins and a Davin O Neil strike gace City the 3pts on the day.  Another reason to be up beat if you are a City fan   is that City have only lost 1 game on the road this season.
Shane Duggan will unfortunatly miss out due to the harsh red card he got in the win over Mervue, and so for the 2nd time this season he won't be able to play against his hometown club.
My predicion for this one is a 3-1  City win once again , with Cummins, Woods and George O'Callaghan getting the goals.

Check this blog over the weekend/early next week as I will report on how this game went.
